One of the most asked questions for the lake is whether you can consume alcohol while you're on the lake. Here's what we found:
According to the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife, drinking alcohol in public places is prohibited in Kentucky, including waterways. The Corps of Engineers also encourages visitors to abstain from drinking alcohol on Lake Cumberland. However, some say that if the driver doesn't drink and passengers don't act foolishly, no one will bother you.
